Going into silent running mode for a while

Halfers is at the vet.
Thanks to Firebreath and Twitchy, we took Half&Half to the 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic tonight.
Diagnosis: Pyometra
It's a form of uterus infection.
She'll require surgery.
She'd severely dehydrated, and they can't operate until she is hydrated enough.
She is a sick kitty ...

oh...

and she also has a heart murmur.

So I had to apply for CareCredit, seeing as I don't have the liquid cash available on hand for treatment. And it'll probably be a few days before she comes home.

I'm so damned worried. And scared.

So I'll be rather quiet and invisible online for the next while. I might be there, but I might not. I love you all.

I just need to cope.
