So today is provincial voting day in Quebec.
I had long ago decided that because I hadn't heard anything about any of the party platforms I wasn't going to go and vote. One of the rare times I don't go out to X a paper.
But because of legislation, work has to give you consecutive 4 hours to go and vote. As my shift is a little wonky (11:30 to 8:00), my start time got kind of moved to 1:30, giving me an extra 2 hours before I needed to be at work...

Yet here I am.

Oh well, gives me time to catch up on some of my projects.

EDIT: Well, looks like it was a good thing I came in. Short staffed today, and was asked nicely if I didn't mind hopping on the queue to help out. When asked nicely I have absolutely no problems with it. :)

Now you know That from your decision you have no right to complain about the Quebec government. Without making your voice heard in some fashion or another even if it is just a protest ballot. With not voting, not participating in the process, by not making your voice heard you loose your right to complain about the current government.

I'm not engaging anyone, but as an aside, I didn't vote at the provincial election either, even though I did at the federal one, because the provincial parties are divided along lines that aren't relevant to me and homogenous along the lines that are, and I think you retain as much of a right to complain as I do.
