Week from hell... pt. 1
Sep. 5th, 2003 10:38 pmSo...
The week started poorly.
Work was Hell Monday. a 40 minute que... that's huge. So we all got put on que all day. Gar. stupid phones.
Tuesday was just as bad. We got told we (The investigations team) had to choose:
-Either 10 of us (and 6 from corporate) had to take a 4 to midnight shift
--This means a minimum of 4 hours off que guarenteed
--the downside, we'd have to work till midnight.
-or we'd be forced onto a 12 to 8 rotation
--just not happy all around
I volunteered for the midnight shift.
Wednesday, 1:30 PM, our supervisor, and the managers went into a meeting.
2:00 pm, we got informed we'd all be going on que for the next 2 months, only be pulled off if the que is dead, and the Listening team would be doing our work
Not that we already aren't backlogged to all hell. Of course not.
I got to train the listeners for the last 2 days. In the Dungeon (ie: the back end of the basement)
I am SO not impressed.
